HITHER GREEN TO WOKING

Join us in the cab of a Class 66 locomotive for this intriguingly circuitous route from Hither Green in south-east London to Woking, by way of Clapham Junction and Staines.

We begin at Hither Green Junction and head for Lewisham. There we turn westwards, crossing south London on the Greenwich Park Line, the Catford Loop and the South London Line, passing through Peckham Rye and Brixton to reach the complex maze of tracks that is Clapham Junction. Then it's west to Staines by way of the Hownslow Loop, and south to the south-west Main Line at Byford Junction, before the final few miles to Woking
